mOcean Mobile is a mobile advertising platform that provides solutions for publishers, ad networks, advertisers and mobile app developers. The mOcean Mobile platform was developed to give users control over all aspects of their mobile ad serving and campaign management activities, using proven technology. mOcean Mobile is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mojiva Inc.

mOcean Mobile for Publishers

mOcean Mobile for Publishers is an ad serving platform that allows mobile publishers to sell their mobile inventory under their own brand. The platform includes a full suite of tools including advanced targeting, detailed reporting, and the ability to fill unused inventory through third-party network aggregation.


mOcean Mobile for Networks

mOcean Mobile for Networks is the core building block for any mobile ad network. As a fully hosted and managed solution, it enables the quick and easy deployment of a self-serve mobile advertising network. The Mojiva mobile ad network, among others, is currently powered by this platform.


mOcean Mobile for Advertisers

mOcean Mobile for Advertisers provides a comprehensive dashboard for managing all mobile ad campaigns over any mobile ad network or mobile content publisher. The platform features advanced targeting capabilities and detailed reporting functionality across the mobile Web and growing app environment.


mOcean Mobile for Apps

mOcean Mobile for Apps is an ad management tool that enables developers to monetize their apps by selling and managing their own inventory, as well as increase downloads by using a portion of their ad revenue to promote their applications. mOcean Mobile for Apps is currently in beta and has an expected release date of November 2009.


Platform Features

Multi-Level Permissions

Multi-level permission setting allows for customized read/write options based upon level of allowance. All of the mOcean Mobile solutions have at least three levels of permission settings available: Administrator, Network Manager and Advertiser.


Frequency Capping

The mOcean Mobile platform controls how often a particular campaign is shown to a unique user. These variables are determined on-the-fly, based on inventory and publisher requests per second. The capping allows the mOcean Mobile platform to carefully select the best ads for better conversions. Advertisers can be sure that campaigns are showing appropriately across the network; publishers experience higher CTRs.


Mobile Thumbprint™

Using the Mobile Thumbprint technology, the possibility of showing the same ad to the same mobile user more than the number of times specified is minimized. mOcean Mobile’s conversion tracking provides a real-time analysis of the specific number of actual ad conversions, as well as the exact location of the conversion (i.e. sites, landing pages, URLs, etc.). ROI calculation is simplified, as the lead-to-cost numbers are visible.


Inventory Forecasting

Reports on overall inventory trends, as well as available inventory based on booked campaigns, are integral to the mOcean Mobile platform. These reports allow the user to incorporate factors such as targeting, cost, and delivery options to ensure accurate inventory management. Inventory data can be updated manually or automatically within the system to enable full visibility into inventory detail.


Rich Media Support

In addition to all MMA sanctioned mobile advertising text capabilities and banner sizes, the mOcean Mobile platform supports rich media, including expandable banners, video, and page takeovers.
