About AP Mobile
AP Mobile is an award-winning multimedia news portal developed by The Associated Press that provides anytime access to international, national and local news. In addition to AP’s own worldwide coverage of breaking news, sports, entertainment, politics and business, more than 1,000 AP members and third-party sources provide content for AP Mobile. AP Mobile allows users to select local news from trusted local newspapers and broadcasters and combine it with the best of the AP's videos, photo galleries, and national and international coverage.
Designed specifically for market-leading smartphones, AP Mobile provides a rich media gateway to a wide variety of news content and mobile-specific functionalities including search, viral sharing, content ratings and text alerts, as well as customizable location settings and homepage categories.
Devices and Content
AP Mobile is available for iPhone, Blackberry, Palm Pre, Android, and Nokia devices.
For feature phones, AP Mobile can be accessed from the WAP site.
